Testing
Whether it is PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) testing, Periodic Testing or New Installation testing to BS7671:2008 to the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, our fully certified testers possess the most up to date testing equipment, which is regularly calibrated to give our clients assurance that their assets are given a clean bill of health.
Portable Appliance Testing
Every item of portable equipment within your installation or used by your staff needs to undergo a testing regime which ensures that items such as computers (and their leads), hand appliances such as drills, grinders, mixers, vacuum cleaners, kettles, toasters microwaves refrigerators and the like are safe. Our inspectors will test and appraise all such items and ensure that you are legal, safe and as such, more profitable.
Fixed Installation Testing
We have many corporate client who rely on our diligence and integrity to keep their equipment and appliances safe for use by those who occupy their buildings and work in their facilities. Our computer controlled work regimes ensure quick response times and clear, timely advance notice that such essential testing needs to be carried out. The health of the fixed wiring within your premises is an asset and, as such, needs to be looked after. Also, it is a legal requirement that all fixed wiring is maintained in good condition, to protect the safety of your workforce and clients who may visit your site. A well maintained installation will compliment your business activities and contribute to your overall profitability. Timely inspection will save time and money. Our inspection teams will give you peace of mind and will alert you in good time should there be any need for preventative intervention.
Also, we are able to carry out load tests on existing installations to provide valuable diagnostics when tracing faults, investigating load characteristics and formulating recommendations for more sophisticated energy-saving regimes. Our Infra Red camera technology can be brought to bear on troublesome intermittent fault scenarios or pinpoint potential overload points within your network. Data-logging can be used to take short or long term looks at your electricity usage and indicate ways to reduce your bills by re-aligning processes or re-negotiating tariffs.
